30 Second Films

The first one will be a music from incompetech

This one is the a complete silent film

This is music from Garage Band

\

Each one of the films shows kind of a different story, but the whole message was suppose to be a intense scene, but the best placed music was the first video with the music, because mainly it was easier to fit, and to come together.

Rear Window Blog Post Afterwards

First the movie Rear Window was an excellent movie, but the panning shots from all the people looking into the courtyard then to Mr. Jefferies apartment always made the movie. In this scene the movie just begun and it is basically setting the scene. First the people sleeping outside on the fire escape as much as that is not safe they do it for a reason. The sleep there and it kind of eludes that it is tight trapped in the surroundings, kind of how Mr. Jefferies is. He is trapped because he broke his leg. Its kind of funny because in that same shot they show the girl dancing with her windows open and she is dancing using here legs. The irony is that Mr. Jefferies can't do that because he has no legs. You really don't know why he is paralyzed until it pans over to the camera. Then when it goes up to the pictures you can imagine what happens. He is a reporter who was trying to take this daring shot and got into the middle of it and basically broke his leg. The music sets the tone because it's supposed to be upbeat in the beginning and then went it gets to Jefferies into the cast then the intensity picks up because now you are wondering how or why he did that.

This clip is at the end of  the movie and it is kind of fitting for the ending. First the music the music is kind of relief feeling that the crime is solved the neighborhood is alright for once. Another part that explains well, is the part that the musician has the girl over because he finally made something of his life, instead of a drunk. Kind of like Jefferies had he finally solved a case that doesn't involved in him getting injured. Another good part is when they go to the girl dancing and her husband comes in, it's kind of like Jefferies how he found the love of his life the  girl protagonist, but he didn't jump into it like the one couple had they were arguing at the end of the movie, because he quits his job when he got married. It was really fitting since the beginning of the film had a panning shot to set the setting and the end scene was the same, to show the setting and how it was funny and really important.
